Sister Sites

Folks who are so awesome, they're like family.

Crowfeathers is the coming of age story of the legendary 1880's Arizona Territory bounty hunter, Chase Corbeau. A jinku child (half human/half harukulkuun, or nature spirit), he has more than his fair share of challenges in life. Plagued by nightmares, spirits of all kinds, the unpredictability of his genetic inheritance, witches out to destroy him, and slightly more mundane hardships, he is forced into adulthood before his time. However, he is never completely alone on his journey, and finds himself in the company of good friends from both the human and spirit worlds.
After 1000 years of war, there's little hope that it will ever end. But when six unlikely characters discover an easy solution, should they use it? Fantasy b/w manga, updates Mon. Bishies, light humor, and a hint of shounen-ai. UPDATES WEEKLY.

Inspirations

The following are published works that helped to inspire me to do my own work. Many of them sell their comics on their websites. If you enjoy Shades of Grey and are looking for a good graphic novel that you can hold in your hand, I highly recommend these great works:

Carla Speed McNiel's Finder

Christopher J. Hicks' Mr. Blank

Drew Hayes' Poison Elves

Tracy J. Butler - For Fiction and Art

Updates Daily (Either M-F or all seven days of the week):

Alexander has found a key to the land of dreams. Now every night he returns to the place he visited as a child. Here he finds adventure, friendship, and love. The 3D animation style makes for very interesting visuals and a rich fantasy environment. Updates M-F.
Funny, serious, dramatic, action-packed. Magic of light, death, and the second sight. True love, sword-fights, orcs...gosh, it sounds like I'm discribing an odd combination of The Princess Bride and Lord of the Rings, doesn't it? Trust me, it's much more than that...
Already well-known:
,, and PVP

Update Two or Three times a week

I should have added this LOOOOooong ago, so you should visit ASAP to make up for my delay! For one, Yasha's artwork is, as always, Amazing. Capital A. Two Rooks has intriguing and multifaceted characters, interesting environment, and a plot that's still got me guessing.
Whimsical, solemn, mysterious, and more. Gunnerkrigg Court follows the rarely fazed Antimony Carver during her life at her new boarding school. Sounds simple enough, until she somehow acquires a second shadow. Robots, Greek myths, evil spirits and talking toys are soon to follow. Updated Tuesdays and Thursdays.

In a gritty futuristic setting, the labs dictate the lives of a race of genetically designed mutants. Dependent on the drugs that keep the very fabric of their bodies together, the mutants must obey the will of the labs or perish in the process.

A fantasy adventure...with a twist. Forget all those pointless heroics, this is a story about a merry band of villains. Demon lords, drow, werebears, theives, dragons and more. Has both action and humor.

Roger, the blatant atheist, is beseeched by an evil god to find a religion to belong to. Angels, divine interventions and the vomitting of snakes ensue.

From the creator who brought us Boy meets Boy, Friendly Hostility follows the quirky lives of Fox and Collin. A lot of good laughs, but many touching moments too. Overall, a lot of fun.
Join Zap as he tries to deal with his past while becoming a captain of a strange spaceship, find love in a stubborn red head, and put up with a sassy robot.
Danny decided to learn sorcery, so he could help his friend Brad fight demons and other nasty things. It is proving a bit more difficult than he thought it would be.

Update Weekly

How to describe Kagerou? Five years of intriguing insanity is a good start, I'd say. Great art, entrhalling story.
Maggie's life had come undone. That was the first step; this is the next. Follow her journey through existence as she discovers, among other things, that there's more to gravity than falling.
What do the self-avowed 'good guys' want with a cold-blooded killer like Star Tyrian? Is this a second chance, or just another mindgame?
A paladin, bandit, and two mages journey on a long quest to recover the lost relics of the sun and stop a demon from destroying their world. Updates on Tuesdays.
I laughed, I cried, I goggled at Joe's artwork. Zebra Girl is one of the first comics I began to read regularly. Although at first intimidated by his raving rants, he is also the first creator I ever sent fan art to. He's mellowed over the years, but I still remember the old, terrifying Joe England. Ah, those were the days...
Amazing full color art. Often I feel as if I'm watching a movie when I read Inverloch. Fun characters, good story pace, large updates. What more needs to be said?
The Princess did find it odd that the moon should disappear in such a manner, without warning or explanation. Still, she didn’t see how it could possibly have anything to do with her mysterious insomnia. But as you can probably guess, it did.
Tired of a hopeless war and its endless destruction, he left Hell to find himself... but he got dust, a twisted mirror and the bloodiest conflict from Creation. Updated each week on Monday.

Update Randomly:

Very unique story and artwork. A tale of the wars amoung elves, raisins, and men. Mind control and the powers of the color blue. It sounds silly, but the story is quite serious in nature and excellently crafted. If you're looking for something different, this is a definite must.
Speak-easies, machine guns, territory battles, and the hustle-bustle madness of Prohibition. With cats. Amazingly expressive illustrations and beautiful characters. A must-read.
A warlord’s private army and ninja assassins pursue a samurai and his companions across feudal Japan. sword jokes and drama ensue!
