Grey:
Once Grace embraces her demon form in Hell, she abandons all aspects
of her former personality. Where Grace was hesitant, meek, and kind,
Grey is impetuous, abrasive, and cruel. Reveling in her newfound
power, she quickly rises to prominence in the Land of Stars and
excess.
The black markings on her face, arms, and stomach are not tattoos.
They are called "Demon Traits," markings that are a result
of becoming a Meta. Other Demon Traits that she has are horns, bone
wings, and the spikes along her forearms.

|
Grey's Demon/Meta Form:
Grey's Demon form, also called her Meta form, is what she shifts
into for battle. The skin around her jaw is free flowing and can
pull back away from her jaw to reveal her teeth and allow her mouth
to open even further. She also has barbed claws, long curving horns,
and razor-sharp bone wings.
Unlike Brand, Grey has embraced her demon form. As such, she has
a high level of control and can easily manipulate her shape. For
example, she can shape her fingers into claws or pull back the skin
around her teeth while in non-meta/human form.

|
Brand:
Brand is Grey's mentor in Hell. Although he doesn't flaunt it,
he's one of the best Angel Slayers in his corporation. This is because
he does not rely on his demon form like most Slayers. Instead, he
focuses on fighting techniques that use his human form to its best
advantage. Brand is loyal to a fault and tends to put the world
on his shoulders even if he doesn't deserve the guilt. He avoids
addressing negatives and tries to always focus on positives at the
expense of reality.

|
ID:
Id is Brand's inner demon. Think of him as a shoulder devil. One
that occasionally possesses its host. He's a manifestation of any
quality that Brand considers negative. Id is Brand's Anger, Lust,
and Greed, repressed and congealed into a monster that grows more
powerful with every passing day.
|
|
|
Brand's Demon/Meta Form:
Brand's demon form has an insatiable thirst for blood and carnage.
When Brand goes Meta, he loses control of himself and goes on a
rampage. He despises his demon form and always tries to suppress
it. As a result, he has no control over it, and even the simplest
of form manipulations are impossible for him.

Hans:
Hans was Brand's student before Grey came along. At first impetuous
and self-important, he ignored Brand's teaching until he had a bad
run-in with Racy and her Meta-mannor brood. Rescued by Brand, he
was slowly nursed back to health. As time passed, he slowly began
to realize he was falling in love with his mentor. Fearing rejection,
he became reserved and self-destructive, seeking out angel after
angel to vent his frustration. Eventually it got him killed. Yet
now he has mysteriously returned from the grave, and this time he's
not going to let fear hold him back from action.

|
Han's Demon form:
Most people do not realize that the demon David fights in the very
beginning of Chapter One and the demon that David and Grace later
kill is the same demon. And not just any demon, for that matter,
but Hans in fact!

|
Racy:
Racy is the Manager of the Manor House Monopoly. She is the Queen
of every brothel in Hell, specializing in Meta-pleasures. The slogan
"Let me take you to Heaven's Door" is well known throughout
Hell with a mixture of scandal and fear. Racy has a bit of an obsessive
streak, and if any man or woman should escape her grasp she will
pursue them until she can break them. Or die in the process.

|
|
Pain and Despair:
Two Pre-Meta's who became Grey's friends when she was still new
to Hell. Pain (the one with pink hair) is bubbly and childlike,
preferring to deal with Hell's excessive environment by acting as
innocent as possible. Despair (purple hair) is her close friend.
Despair still is trying to move on from her experiences in Heaven,
holding a vehement grudge against the society that she lived in
for so long.
Pain regards Despair as a sister in spirit if not by blood. Despair
views their relationship rather differently, seeing Pain as a potential
love interest. This is a point of discontent between them, and as
such they generally avoid the issue. Content to only skim the surface
of Hell's pleasures and pains, Pain and Despair are essentially
still newbies in Hell's fast-paced environment.

Bells and Bows:
Bells (cat-boy) and Bows' (jack-a-lope-wolf) main claim to fame
is they are one of the few survivors of the Manor-House-Massacre.
Two partial Meta hookers, they are two loyal friends trying to eke
out a living in a harsh environment. Neither having a good Meta-form
for combat, Racy was quick to pick them up for the other kinds of
appeal that their shapes would have to the right kind of customer.
Both are good-natured individuals, looking for fun and profit rather
than the blood and power preferred by other members of Racy's brood.
After the Manor-House Monopoly is broken, Bells (aka Tael) and Bows
(aka Rae) start up a Nightclub and Brothel of their own called,
(surprise surprise) "Bells and Bows."

Epoch:
Epoch is a mysterious figure that only David can see or hear. Little
to nothing is known about this enigma.
